Water Properties
  • pH - automatically controlled by CO2 @ 6.91 to 7.10 ±0.02 pH
  • Salt - 0.1% ± 0.02%
  • Ammonia - 0-.1 ppm
  • Nitrite - 0 ppm
  • Nitrate - 0-15 ppm (fluctuates greatly when fertilized due to explosive plant growth)
  • GH - 5-8°
  • KH - 5-10°
  • Fe - As much as I can when I remember to add it. It gets consumed within a couple days.
  • Chelated Fe - Same as Fe
  • Phosphate - As close to 0 as I can keep it. Food adds some. I use RO/DI water and use no fertilizers with phosphate.
