You have indicated that you wish to know more information about me. I work in San Luis Obispo California at a local community bank. I work in the IT Department dealing with security, network management, telephone systems, and generally anything with electricity and wires coming out of it.
- My name obviously is Stephen
Single.
- I had lived in Maryland all my life up until July of 2003. Then I packed everything I owned into a 15 foot Penske truck (I mean PACKED... I threw out or sold all kinda stuff), I stuck my 1999 Buick Century onto a car dolly and I drove off to California over 4 days...
- I am a Cancer (Born in July)
- My favorite foods are anything grilled, pasta, chinese,
sushi, mexican, and just about anything that I cook is good too.
- I like many types of music but mainly listen to things
like New Order, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Aerosmith, Goo Goo Dolls,
some Miles Davis, Enigma, Adiemus, Lorena McKennitt, Madonna, Moby,
Savage Garden, Bare Naked Ladies, Dido, Clannad, Jimi Hendrix, Cure,
and well... a WHOLE lot more but those are the main bulk of the stuff
I have and am willing to admit to.
- I have only really spent large amounts of money on
fish since about 2000. I grew up with really no fish until
my early teenage years where we had a few fish and my parents eventually
ended up with what I guess was a 10 or 12x 25 to 30ft pond (estimate?)
with Koi and various goldfish and bullfrogs. It was not till several
years later I ventured out on my own in the world of fish.
- I am very much interested in cooking and have read
and studied all of the text books used at major culinary schools for
those pursuing the Certified Master Chef exam. I have been told by friends
that I should give up working in the computer field and go to culinary
school and eventually open a restaurant.
- Other hobbies besides cooking and fish involve: computers,
photography, digital audio recording/mixing/playback technologies, astronomy,
playing pool, listening to nature, and visiting scenic nature type areas.
- Most of my money is tied up in cooking, photography,
and fish though.
- For my job history see my resume here. I have worked in many industries and presently am involved in the banking world. My previous job was working at the White House for a government contractor as the supervisor for a on site computer repair and distribution facility. I've been in the computer field for over 12 years and have extensive experience with asset management, software licensing, corporate policy development, network administration, web development, database server administration, application development, etc.
